Random thought #1: This Sunday, April 22nd, is EARTH DAY! Get your hippie on and get out and do something good for the planet. A few simple suggestions, take a neighborhood walk and pick up garbage that you see, go to the store and buy some CFL bulbs and replace those old incandescents, try a day with no car (walk or bike instead), take an hour on the net and search environmental topics...inform yourself. The possibilities are endless!
Random thought #2: Big weekend for the Boston Red Sox as they face off against the evil empire, the loathed Yankees. Go sox (in a thick Boston accent so it sounds like this: sawks)!
Random thought #3: Besides Sunday being Earth Day it is also the day that I begin Marathon training! 484 miles and counting!
Random thought #4: Yesterday I found myself intrigued by the video clips form the Virginia Tech killer Cho Seung-Hui. This morning I saw a new video clip on CNN.com, it loaded up and began to play when I thought to myself "this is just what he wanted, he wanted people to watch this and draw attention to himself, maybe to make him less of a monster by casting off what he did as a result of continual hazing and other torments by the rich kids." I shut off that clip before it finished, and vowed not to give my attention to the killer anymore, but rather focus it on the victims and their families. Don't give him the satisfaction he craved, ignore him and focus on what is really important.
Random thought #5: I dislike painting so much that I don't want to do it anymore. Any volunteers willing to come over and help?! Have a great weekend!

I like all of your random thoughts. I'm also going to refuse to give "the killer" anymore attention both because I think it means he is getting what he wanted and for my own state of mind.
I think that doing research on other things I can do for the environment is an excellent idea for earth day. I think I already do the easy stuff...like replacing bulbs, recycling, and reuseable grocery bags. Now I want to do something that takes a little more effort or something. Thanks for the inspiration.
If I lived closer I would help paint! I'll try to send happy energy your way. Just think of how nice it will look when you are finished.
Yah for marathon training!!!
I was looking at "green" homes in Colorado, but wasn't finding much. Maybe my idea of an environmentaly friendly house is different than what is out there. All I found were ads for houses that have energy star appliances, a good start but not what I imagined.
