Perhaps I was inspired by my recent triathlon purchases, or feeling guilty because I hadn't killed myself on a workout in a while. Whatever the rationale, I decided to do a triathlon today. Here are the results:
Swim - 1500 yards - 25:20
Bike - 20 miles - 57:06
Run - 6 miles - 54:14
Not too shabby, huh? I was most impressed with that run time. After all of that fatiguing exercise I still managed to not only cover 6 miles but in 9 minutes per mile. I think those distances are pretty comparable to an olympic distance triathlon, although there is some variation from course to course.
I had plans to do some more work on our bathroom renovation today, but the thought of manual labor at this point and time sounds about as appealing as slamming my finger in a sliding glass door about 100 times. I don't think so!

Those times are amazing. You beat my Bolder Boulder run times after you had already swam and biked great times. Awesome!
