Lance is the man

Lance Armstrong ran the NYC marathon in 2006 and after crossing the finish line said he would NEVER do that again. Despite his team of world class pacers, he still did not enjoy himself. He did however beat his goal of 3 hours (2:59:36) which is just nuts for your first marathon. Well he ran is again on Sunday and finished in 2:46:42, which was barely 40 minutes slower than the overall winner. A lot of people don't know that Lance was a triathlon prodigy when he was a teen, so he had some running in his background. However at 2:46 he is doing 26.2 miles in 6 minutes 20 seconds per mile! That is truly amazing for a non professional racer. I really can't think of anybody else more inspiring, overcoming cancer, 7 consecutive Tour De France victories with out doping, and now he is dating an Olsen twin! What a stud!
